Establish the preliminary network nessesary for planning workshops on infection control in health care settings in Murmansk and Kirkenes and getting base line data for monitoring future interventions.
Target Group: Emploees at Murmansk Tuberculosis Hospital and Kirkenes Sykehus as well as responsible administrative

Output Indicators: - Groups established in accordance with each individual project proposal
Output: National, regional or local networks for implementing prudent use of antimicrobials established
Means of Verification: Project report
Criteria for Success: Group members are known to the MOH and are established in accordance to the project proposal ie are working on implementing prudent use of antimicrobials
Purpose Indicators:- Incidence and/or prevalence of health care related infections using defined methods
Purpose: To reduce the transmission of resistant microorganisms and to increase the prudent use of antimicrobials
Means of Verification: Health care related and hospital infection control system established
Success Criteria: Regular reporting and reduction in incidence and/or prevalence of health care related infections and establishment of feed back to clinicians and responsible health care workers
