Project: Implementation of the Second Generation Surveillance for the MSM Population

Project goals

– assess the existing serological and behavioural data for MSM population, identify opportunities and gaps;

– develop/adapt the second generation surveillance methodology for the specific Russian situation of the MSM population;

– carry out serological and behavioural studies, analyse collected data, prepare and distribute the report;

– evaluate the process and results, make necessary adjustments and prepare a manual on Second Generation HIV Surveillance among MSM Population in the Russian Federation;produce and distribute the manual and advocate its broad use.
