Project goals
: The project intends to select NGOs from six different Russian regions that have demonstrated capacity, skills and engagement to carry out HIV prevention training and outreach activities among women in prostitution. Outreach activities include medical and social health care, safe sex behaviour training and distribution of information packages and condoms. The NGOs are expected to actively seek cooperation with local authorities. Other activities include a study about the various paradoxical legislation regarding prostitution in Russia and advocacy roundtables and seminars with federal, regional and local governments. |
