To improve the basic living conditions of affected population in Chechnya by providing necessary psychosocial activities through the support of mother & child kits and information brochures and distribution to 600 pregnant women in Shatoy, Sharoy, Itum Kale districts and the villages of Chishki, Dachu Borzoi and selected parts of Grozny. In addition, ACF provides food distribution to vulnerable households (10000 persons); of special baby food distributions to children aged 6 to 18 months (500 children in Chechnya and 1000 in Ingushetia). ACF distributes non food items – food preservation kits - before the winter to 1000 vulnerable households in Chechnya and support to about 57 beekeepers with provision of bees and beekeeping material and poultry breeding project involving 40 vulnerable households.
