Development of Family Medicine in Vologda Region - Part 1

Activities
2 pilot offices are opened: one in the settlement of Molochnoye of the city of Vologda, the other in the settlement of Chebsara, Sheksninsky district, the Vologda region. The offices are equipped with medical equipment. The personnel are trained and are in business. Internships to Sweden and Estonia took place twice a year annually. More than 35 general practitioners and 80 nurses are trained. 5 new offices of general practice are opened and licensed on the territory of the region. Opened department of St. Petersburg Medical Academy of post graduate studies on post-graduate training of doctors of the Vologda region.

Results
The project has the following tasks: open 2 pilot model offices of general practice, train the personnel of the indicated offices on “General medical practice”, equip the offices with the necessary medical and office equipment, arrange internships for office staff in Sweden and Estonia, conduct at least 2 training workshops for doctors and nurses of the region, conduct scientific research in the work of general practice ofiices. |
