Implementation of the infectious disease surveillance measures, including administrative control, engineering surveillance of environment and respiratory protection of personnel at institutions with high degree of TB spread risk

Prevention of interhospital spread of infection (mycobacteria TB) among patients and personnel. |

Activities
Organization of training courses for health personnel on the aspects of infectious disease surveillance (use of the means of individual protection, use of ultra-violet lamps).

Results
1.Provision of safer work environment for health personnel (although it is almost impossible to exclude the risk of mycobacteria TB spread in anti -TB facilities, the introduction and observance of the recommended infectious disease surveillance measures effectively reduce the risk if interhospital TB cases).
2.For the last 3 years there hasn’t been any growth of TB among the personnel of health facilities
