Project: Development of the net of medico-social youth-friendly services

Project goals

Promotion of effective approaches, protecting teenagers and young people from such life-threatening factors as HIV/AIDS, STI, teenage pregnancy, drug-addiction, usage of surface active substances by means of access provision of medical, psychological, social, informational and educational services.

Activities

79 volunteers are trained to promote healthy lifestyle, HIV/AIDS, STI prevention, prevention of teenage pregnancy, drug-addiction, use of psycho- active substances (PAS), which provides access to medical, psychological, social, information and educational services; Improved material-technical basis of the institution.

Results

Within the framework of the project implementation a workshop was conducted (St. Petersburg) on the issues of youth-friendly clinics (YFC); workshops – trainings on promotion of healthy lifestyle, prevention of risk behavior of adolescents and youth, and training of YFC specialists and volunteers on the basis of the city Children’s hospital; acquired office equipment, furniture, equipment.
