Project goals
Main tasks: supporting the organization of general practice in rural and urban conditions, setting up of functioning models of preventive work in Primary healthcare and in the activity of the general practice; setting up of the system of continuous education of the personnel of the Primary Healthcare on the issues of prevention and healthy lifestyle. |

Activities
In the course of project implementation there were conducted a series of workshops for pilot territories aimed at organizing work with the population on the prevention of tobacco abuse, alcohol and drugs and their consequences (HIV/AIDS, STI, hepatitis): Prevention of respiratory diseases; early detection and prevention of arterial hypertension. Conducted 3 training sessions for doctors and nurses of pilot territories, Health Days in educational institutions of Petrozavodsk, contest “Give up smoking and win”. Developed and disseminated information materials for the population on risk factors of chronic non-infectious diseases on “pilot territories”.
