Project: Health protection in penal system of Russia

Project goals

Informing prisoners about HIV, hepatitis B, C, TB. Preserving health in the penal system conditions. Increasing the level of knowledge of the penitentiary personnel. Introduction of preventive initiatives. Dissemination of informational materials.

Activities

Acquisition of additional knowledge by health personnel, prison staff, availability of informational and methodological materials, training pre- and post – test counseling. Stabilization of HIV-infection in penal system. Development of skills to preserve health.
