The largest pharmaceutical distributor in Russia tends to open a plant in Moscow region to produce 70 mln ampoules per year. The investments are $46 mln. It is the highest level of the investments in the pharmaceutical company in Russia.

The article in Rossiiskaya Gazeta discusses a problem of financing doctors. The government has forgotten about such doctors as medical attendants. This means there is no space for them in the future medicine in Russia. The same problem is with emergency help and its doctors and so called specialized doctors (they are surgeons, obstetricians and so on).

11/10/2005 Fight against fake drugs in Russia comes on international level.
The meeting of the experts of the European council in Strassburg has been dedicated to the problem of fake drugs. The representatives of Russia were: the Ministry of healthcare and social development, Roszdravnadzor and Rospatent.
A representative of Roszdravnadzor stated that there is no standard solution or panacea in fighting against fake drugs. And there are a lot of responsible institutions for problem solving: the government, pharmaceutical producers, distributors, doctors, pharmacists and consumers as a whole.

The list of the medicines for the privileged people has been changed several times. The reason of these changes was that the list has been worked up quickly and then it needed some additions and exclusions.
Many privileged people think that only chip and not effective medicines have been included to the list. However, the list was made not only by the Ministry but also by the doctors, pharmaceutical producers and distributors. It means that the list corresponds to their opinions.
The list will be valid starting from the beginning of the next year. Some changes will be possibly made through the year.
