n/a The government has approved program for free medical treatment



The Russian government has approved the program of the state guarantees to render free medical assistance in 2006. Mihail Fradkov, Russian Prime minister, has signed such regulation.


According to the regulation, Russians can get free acute care, ambulatory and polyclinic care, including precautions, stationary care during acute conditions, poisoning, injuries, planned hospitalization for diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation, in childbirth and abortions, as well as for newborns.

Starting from the 1st of September the invalids (the participants of the wars) will get an extra support.




Rossiiskaya Gazeta publishes a decree that the invalids will receive R1, 000 starting from the 1st of September instead of the 1st of January next year. The government found an opportunity to pay beforehand. This decree applies to rather young invalids who have been injured during the war activity ( in Hungary, Angola, Mozambique, Afghanistan, Chechnya). These invalids will get the same amount of money as the invalids of the World War II. The average payment to these invalids today fluctuates between R3, 700 to R4, 250 per month.

29/07/2005 Sick-lists changed color but not content



There is a new form of sick-lists in Russia starting form the 1st of August. New sick-lists have a different color – instead of being blue, they become green. The contents stay the same like in previous form.


Last letterheads should go away after July, 31. Blue letterheads dated up to July 31, are valid and must be paid out with no limits.

At the beginning of the week Russian President noticed that the problem in pension supporting for the invalids is still unsolved.

Yesterday, Mihail Zurabov visited exposition of techniques, clothes and prosthetic devices for invalids. The Russian government plans to buy a lot of the invalid carriages.
